Short version: we don't use advertising cookies. We store what's needed to keep you logged in, continue a support chat and remember a reading preference. If you say yes, Google Analytics also counts visits to our public pages, to help us improve the website. It never runs in your account or on story pages.
What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies and similar browser storage (like "local storage") are small pieces of information a website saves in your browser, so it can remember things between visits, such as whether you're logged in.
What we store

We don't use advertising or social-media tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share browsing information.
Payment pages
When you subscribe or manage billing, you're taken to secure pages run by our payment provider, Stripe. Stripe uses its own cookies there to process payments safely and prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie information.
When you check out from the Shop, you're taken to Shopify's secure checkout, which uses its own cookies to complete your order. See Shopify's cookie policy.
Your choices
You can clear or block cookies and browser storage in your browser's settings. If you block them, you won't be able to stay logged in to your account, but the rest of our website will still work.
Changes
If we ever add other cookies, we'll update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it. See also our Privacy Policy.
